Lost Property Vintage A/W Collection

Here are some photos of the make up looks I created for Lost Property Vintage and their A/W Collection!

Look 1
Glitter Brows

Yes thats right - Glitter brows! For this we used a purple glitter to match in with some of the clothing. We kept the rest of the look quite mute with a plain matt base and a slight flush of pink blush, a black winged liner and a nude pink lip. I also gave her a massive bun to give the brows a chance to shine!

Look 2
Berry Lip

A favourite this A/W the berry lip! I made this shade with MAC Russian Red and mixed in a little MAC Cyber. I teamed this with a very sculpted base and eye with a smudged brown liner. I kept her hair quite natural by drying it in plaits then giving it a good backcombing!

Look 3
Brights

Colour Colour Colour - to go with Lost Property's vision of brightening up winter with brights and glitter we took these thoughts into the make up with peacock coloured smokey eyes using greens, blues, browns and blacks and bright pink lips! Leanne's hair also matched this theme with gorgeous orange and pink slices through the front. Who said brights were just for summer?!

After writing this post I wonder what are your favourite looks this A/W and what looks will you be wearing at your festive parties this year?

Limited Edition Vaseline!

Its here! The gorgeous limited edition Pink Bubbly Vaseline available exclusively at Selfridges!

Being the kind of girl who dreams about a Champagne lifestyle, I simply could not wait to get my hands on this little baby! It has super cute packaging and has a gorgeous smell of what I think is more like a pink grapefruit than Champagne?! But never the less, I am in love!

Coming in at £3.49 some may think this is quite 'pricey for a bit of petroleum jelly'. I think it is worth every penny, what lady doesn't need a bit of Pink Bubbly in their life!

My Lim Edish Pink Bubbly!

About-
'Luxury living is all the rage, but this time it’s all about letting your lips enjoy a champagne lifestyle. By popular demand, cult beauty brand Vaseline Lip Therapy has created an exciting and decadent new limited edition flavour, Pink Bubbly. Available exclusively at Selfridges, Vaseline Pink Bubbly has a gorgeous rosé hue. Enriched with champagne grape extract, this luxurious jelly will intensively moisturise and smooth, creating a perfectly kissable pout. Simply glide on over your favourite colour to give lips A-list colour that shimmers, or use over bare lips for a more natural demure look.'

Go get yours ladies!

About Me

Ok so I rushed into my first post and I didn't properly introduce myself! So, here is a little bit about me!
I am a 20 year old girl from the one and only Essex!

I originally started my adult life training 3 years at Performing Arts Collage to be a dancer/actress. I had been dancing since I was 2 and it only seemed right that once I left school I would persue this as a career. Unfortunately I left wanting nothing to do with the industry, which was a shame. But the less said about that the better!

It is just coming up to a year since I graduated and I would never have dreamt that I would have done all of the things I have had the opportunity of doing during this time.

I started to get into Glamour modelling, and before I could take a breath I was gracing the pages of some of the top mens magazines in the UK and the Daily Star's Page 3, as well as various online publications. I was even lucky enough to shoot abroad earlier this year!

Once my hate for all things dance/acting related had calmed down, I had the pleasure of dancing at London's 02 arena, where pop star "Rhianna" had performed just the night before!
I took part in the Sky Sports TV show "Soccer AM" as a soccerette and Leyton Orient FC cheerleader alongside Liam Gallagher and American Pies very own "Stiffler".
I also went on to do other work with Sky Sports including dancing at "Prizefighter" boxing events.
I then went on to have my very own TV show with 4 other Glamour ladies (Brandy Brewer, Caitlin Wynters, Kate Banks, Farrah Sattaur) "Hot Girls FC" on Sports Tonight TV.

As of March 2012 I decided I wanted to add another string to my bow and I enrolled in the London College of Fashion to become a Make Up Artist. I completed a fast track course in Make Up Artistry where I studied for a month. I have always been surrounded by it, from stage make up when I was young to make up for photo shoots more recently. Im really enjoying learning more in depth about the field and pride myself on giving a professional service as I would have expected.

Well that takes me up to the present time, who knows what I'll be doing this time next year, but I am certainly enjoying my journey!

Here is some photo evidence of what I have been up to...

Photo shoot 12/06/12

Ok so I've decided to start a blog, which will mostly contain information about my life as a makeup artist and glamour model!

And particularly today as I do actually have something to share with you all (I will add a blog with a little bit about me at a later date)

I have had a shoot this morning with 3 gorgeous ladies, 2 who are 16 and looking to get into modelling, and one 24 year old who has just had a baby, and no one would ever know, wow!

My first look I wanted to achieve something very classy but easily wearable, so I went with trying to achieve gorgeously textured and contoured skin, with a brown based eye and a bright red lip and it came out something like this...

Lady in Red

Product List:

Base
M.A.C strobe cream
M.A.C studio fix fluid
M.A.C studio tech (darker shade used to contour)

M.A.C cream colour base- Pearl (used as highlither)

Mix of M.A.C powder blush

Eyes
Mix of M.A.C eye shadows- Matt browns, taupes and creams
M.A.C Pigment- Melon (insides of eyes)
M.A.C Fluidline- Dipdown

Eyelure Strip Eyelashes- 100

Lips
M.A.C lip pencil - Redd
M.A.C Lipstick- Russian Red

Hair
Curled with my babylis wand and fixed with hairspray

As you can see already my make up kit contains basically all M.A.C products!

I would also like to add I am not in any way trained in hair, I don't pretend I am, I do however feel comfortable at my ability to basically style hair.

My second look I had a girl with slightly darker skin tones and I wanted to create a 70s inspired bronzed beauty, using lots of shimmer and golds and here is what I ended up with...

Bronzed Beauty

Product List:

Base
M.A.C strobe cream
M.A.C studio fix fluid
M.A.C studio tech (darker shade used to contour)

M.A.C Pigment- Melon (used as highlighter)
Mix of M.A.C Powder Blush

Eyes
Mix of M.A.C eye shadows- shimmery reds, browns and golds
M.A.C Pigment- Melon (insides of eyes)
M.A.C Fluidline- Dipdown
M.A.C Pro Lash Mascara- Brown

Lips
M.A.C lip pencil - Spice
M.A.C Lipstick- Hue

Hair
Set in rollers, model wore a head piece for this, I didn't take my photo until later when it had been taken out and hair was a bit messed up!

I didn't manage to get any iphone snaps of my 3rd look but we went for typical glamour girl make up!

  • Dark smokey eye
  • Heavily contoured
  • Pale lip with darker liner

As soon as I receive the professional photos back I will be sure to share them with you all,

Sian x
